Maggie Leininger

Specimen is a current expanding series that examines molecular microscopic images.  While investigating these various microscopic images, I began to notice how the micro often informed the macro.  I then began to notice the visual similarities betweem these microscopic images and satellite maps.  Future works such as Peripheries further examines the segmentation of maps, neighborhoods and re-generation.
